Sticky Fingers Art Club

The arts at Springbrook is much more than paint and paper, lyrics and notes, or a play of sorts, it is healing, therapeutic and a means of communication.

Springbrook's Sticky Fingers Art Club was started several years ago by an employee who wanted to share her gifts with others. Leader Cathy has dedicated many hours of her own time to bringing individuals together so that they can not only enjoy creating art, but also enjoy to pleasure of meeting new people and making friends.

Participants of the art club have had their work featured locally and have also won recognition.  Over the summer, the club has been meeting at different Springbrook Community Homes so that club members could spend time with other residents.  Regular meetings are held at the First United Methodist Church in Oneonta, NY.
