The School at Springbrook
The School at Springbrook is licensed by the New York State Education Department and regulated by the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilites (OPWDD).
Springbrook is often referred to as a "Hidden Gem" in upstate New York. Nestled in a rural area with rolling hills and valleys, Springbrook believes that success builds upon success.
At Springbrook students are encouraged to achieve in specialized programs that build upon their strengths and personal preferences. Our goal is to help every student achieve to the best of their ability while developing self confidence and independence in the school, community and home environments
Our dedicated staff provides services to children ages 5-21 with developmental disabilities, including Autism, and who have IQ scores falling in the range of mental retardation. Springbrook offers a day program for children who live at home with their families or a residential program for those children who need a higher level of care and support in a 24-hour setting. Both the day and residential programs are 12-month programs with a traditional 10-month school year and an additional 6-week summer session.
