The Triumphant Life Award is an annual award intended to honor and give special recognition to an individual with a disability who has a relationship with Springbrook. This award is an an acknowledgement of an individual’s attitude and triumphs. The winner of the Triumphant Life Award inspires others. Their success is clearly evident as the person utilizes their strengths and natural supports to make their dreams come true.
Although only one individual is acknowledged each year, the Board of Directors, Administration, Constituents of Springbrook and this Committee recognize the triumphs, big and small, of all participants who have crossed our path and found success.

The Charles A. Belden Special Merit Citation was established in 1994 by the Springbrook Board of Directors to honor Charles Belden, and is now awarded by a special committee comprised of administrators, employees, and a parent member of the Parent Council.
Mr. Belden served Springbrook in many capacities, including 40 years as a member of the Board. Mr. Belden was highly respected for his wisdom, understanding, commitment, and the Christian love he so generously shared with everyone. Mr. Belden retired from the Board in 1994 and passed away the following year.
The Charles A. Belden Special Merit Citation is intended to give special recognition to a Springbrook employee in acknowledgement of his or her unique contributions and outstanding service. The recipient of this award will have demonstrated a compassionate spirit and an exceptional level of care for the people served by Springbrook, as exemplified by Mr. Belden during his many years of service.
