For this Thinking Thursday, we wanted to give you an inside look at how The School at Springbrook is working. Maintaining our excellent educational standards is a top priority during this period. Classroom teachers continually modify student-specific lesson plans, adapting to a personalized experience, just as they have before distance learning began. One of the things that make remote learning enjoyable (for both the students and teachers) is the opportunity for connection over video calls. Any teacher you ask will almost definitely tell you that the hardest part about social distancing is not being able to see and engage with the students from their classrooms. Using services like Zoom, teachers, and students virtually connect and share moments.

Teaching remotely has been a challenge, but I am so thankful for the technology that allows me to continue to teach these students on a regular basis. Zoom calls are the best parts of my day; I miss these students all so much and getting to see that they are happy and healthy means so much to me!
