FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 2, 2019

Oneonta, NY: Springbrook invites you to attend An Evening of Music with world-renowned musicians Carmit Zori, Robert Rinehart, and Max Zeugner. The Springbrook Foundation hosts the evening in support of Springbrook at the Morgan Library & Museum at 225 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10016, on December 19th from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The night will begin with cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres, followed by a chamber music concert, and a dinner reception after the performance. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Springbrook Foundation and its work on behalf of Springbrook.

This year’s concert features performances of the Three Madrigals for Violin and Viola by Bohuslav Martinů and Trio Sonata for organ No. 5 in C Major, BWZ 529 (BC J5) by Johann Sebastian Bach. The event is once again organized by musicians Zori and Rinehart, whose son, Daniel, is a resident of one of Springbrook’s Community Homes and a graduate of Springbrook’s Tom Golisano Center for Autism. The concert was conceptualized by Zori and Rinehart as their way of giving back to Springbrook while raising awareness about the organization’s services for individuals living with autism and other developmental disabilities. “Springbrook is a beautiful environment for our son Danny. The employees and administrators are dreamers with hearts of gold.  They foster a safe, loving place for people with developmental disabilities, and every day they fill it with generosity and patience. What a priceless gift for our family, and what a debt of gratitude we owe! This concert is our way of thanking Springbrook for the love, the care, and the home they have given our son,” Zori and Rinehart shared.

Zori is a violinist who regularly appears as a soloist and chamber musician around the world and currently serves on the faculties of Rutgers University and SUNY Purchase. Rinehart is a violist and member of the New York Philharmonic, co-founder of the Ridge String Quartet, and a faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music. Joining them on stage will be bassist Max Zeugner, Associate Principal Bass with the New York Philharmonic. Zeugner is the Herbert M. Citrin Chair of the New York Philharmonic and is a founding member of the Worcester Chamber Music Society. Zeugner works as a music educator at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music.
