On Tuesday, November 27th, Springbrook will join in with nonprofits, families, businesses, community centers, and students from around the world to participate in #GivingTuesday. This global giving movement brings millions together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live. Following two days for getting deals–Black Friday and Cyber Monday–#GivingTuesday is a day for giving back. In dozens of towns, cities, regions, and states, people are embracing this day as an opportunity to raise money for local nonprofits, as keeping your donations local helps strengthen communities and improve quality of life right at home.

Springbrook’s 2018 #GivingTuesday goal is to raise $5,000 during this one-day giving campaign to support their Special Olympics Track and Field program. Donations will help purchase needed equipment, fund travel expenses to out of town meets, and hire coaches for the program. Springbrook’s Special Olympics sports teams (including their USA Games Bronze-Medal winning Soccer Team) are funded 100% through donations and wouldn’t be possible without your generosity. Gifts will be matched by the following generous #GivingTuesday sponsors: B&K Coffee, MAMCO Precision Molding, SD Eyes, Sybil’s Yarn Shop, and The Image Press. Anyone interested in joining Springbrook’s #GivingTuesday initiative can visit  the #GivingTuesday gift page, or follow along on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
